Dave is co-producing The Nashville Connection Heroes Salute for the 2nd year. Dave is the co-author of the number one vocal training program in the world – “Singing Success.” He is a top vocal coach with over 17 years of experience. He is a vocal producer, vocal communicator, and an astute interpreter of lyrics for the commercial singer. Having had a great deal of personal success as a commercial singer, David completely identifies with the style and process of a commercial singer; his scales are cutting edge and tailor-made for commercial singers. He is able to sing and teach any style and genre, at any given time. Many of his clients see astounding results during their very first session. Dave says that it is not uncommon to increase the usable range for his clients from one-half octave to a full octave during the first session.

Dave has sung with Rascal Flatts, Toby Keith, and has work with Gladys Knight, Montgomery Gentry, James Ingram, among many other well-known performers. As a top demo session singer in Nashville, Dave Books has worked with top song writers: Neil Thrasher, Rivers Rutherford, and Tim Davis from Glee, to name a few, and has received many testimonials of top music industry professionals such as Carole Ann Mobley, Vice President of A&R, Warner Music, and Grammy award winning producer, Byron Gallimore.

David is recognized as one of the nation’s top studio vocalists. His voice has been featured on national network campaigns for ABC, NBC, CBS, “The Tonight Show” with Jay Leno, “Wheel of Fortune”, and a host of commercial advertisements, including the dairy industry’s “Milk Does a Body Good” campaign and Wendy’s “99 Cent Value Menu” campaign. In 1998, Dave moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where he has become one of Music City’s premiere session vocalists who has worked with several of the industry’s biggest songwriters and session singers. Dave opened the Dave Brooks Artist Development studio to provide students the level of service they deserve.
