What Does the Nashville Connection Stand For?
The Nashville Connection - Heroes Salute is a five-day, star-studded event that utilizes this area's love of music to help support our community and global partners. It is a chance for aspiring musicians to meet and network with top industry professionals. What a ridiculous opportunity they have to be seen and heard through a variety of scheduled events, including a full day of Artist Experiential Sessions and a competition, with the winner accumulating $25,000 worth of opportunity prizes.
The culmination of the Nashville Connection five-day event is the Heroes Salute Concert, an up-close-and-personal benefit concert with top performers from Nashville. The benefit will be held in Nashville, TN on October 17, 2015. It will be an evening to remember from the red carpet meet and greet with the top artist, to a live auction and intimate concert, this will truly be a very special evening for all to attend. We are dedicating this event to our global partner FUTURE and our local partners Military Family Lifestyle Charitable Foundation, Survivor Outreach Services and SC Gold Star Mothers & Families.
A Life-Changing Opportunity
The Nashville Connection, in collaboration with DB Artist Development, will be producing the biggest five-day music event in the Southeast. This event will bring top Nashville music professionals to join top professionals from across the country for a must-attend session for serious singers and songwriters.
This year's Artist Experiential Sessions will cover every aspect of the music industry including:
In addition, attendees can sign up for exclusive one-on-one sessions with Nashville's own Dave Brooks (vocal coach to the stars), Sam Tate (Grammy award-winning songwriter), and Roger Ryan (Dove and Juno award-winning composer and musician). All participants will have an opportunity to network, market themselves, and receive feedback from top industry music professionals.
Nashville Connection Competition
There is also an opportunity for contestants to submit songs through the website in the categories of singer and songwriter (12+ years) as part of a competition. This competition will be judged by music industry professionals and celebrities, and will include a finalist contest and top prizes awarded. The day of the competition is open to the general public who will be invited to cheer on their favorite performers. This year's winners will receive $25,000 worth of opportunity prizes to promote their music in the top circles of Nashville. They will also be featured as the opening act for our Heroes Salute Concert. How amazing is this opportunity? Just ask Austin Webb — he won in 2011 and is fast becoming one of Nashville's rising stars.
